Eye Exams for Kids

How early can you bring in your child to get their eyes checked?

At our office, we can start seeing infants at six months of age or older. We have techniques at our disposal that let us examine eyes without anyone having to say a word. Infant eyecare is under-represented and there are few doctors who feel comfortable in providing this unique care.

Our office tries to create an environment where the children and parents feel comfortable and supported for their children’s eye needs.

Children are covered for their eye exams yearly by OHIP until they turn 20 years old. Also patients 65 and older are covered yearly by OHIP as well.
