Here at Dr. Song Family Optometry, we are taking COVID-19 very seriously while still providing quality eyecare for St. Catharines.

Here is what we’re doing to protect you and our team:

– Mask wear is mandatory for anyone over the age of 2 years old
– Patient temperature is checked by our team before each visit
– Hand sanitizer is available and recommended when patients enter the office
– All touched surfaces are cleaned after each visit
– Frames are cleaned after they are tried on
– Plexiglass barrier set-up at our front desk to protect our patients and our team
– Appointments are spaced out to leave time for cleaning and to minimize interaction between people
– Appointments are required for every office visit including glasses or contact lens pick up
– Families are welcome, as long as they are from the same household
– We ask people to let us know if they or someone in their family has travelled outside of the country in the last 2 weeks and have been sick recently
– Bathroom use is for staff only
– All staff wear masks and safety eye protection
– Disposable gloves are worn by staff when physical contact needs to be made with the patient
